Between February 8 at 10:00 pm and February 7 at 7:30 am in the 8300 block of Roanoke Avenue, an auto theft occurred. It is not known how the 1998 Pontiac Sunfire was stolen. 07-1868
On February 9 at 9:00 pm in the 100 block of Grant Avenue, an armed robbery occurred. An adult female was walking alone when she noticed three subjects in a car parked ahead of her. One of the subjects got out of the car, approached her, displayed a handgun and demanded her purse. The victim dropped her purse, the subject picked it up and fled in the vehicle, a dark colored 4 door car. The victim was not injured. The subject was described as a black male, wearing a black coat and black clothing. No description was given for the other two subjects. 07-1888
On February 14, between 9:30 pm and 11:59 pm in the 8100 block of Lockney Avenue, an auto theft occurred. It is unknown how the 1996 Honda Civic was stolen. 07-2105
Arrests:
On February 9 at 11:15 pm in the 7000 block of Westmoreland Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with 4th degree burglary, trespassing and possession of CDS paraphernalia after police responded to a call for a suspicious person inside the business. 07-1896
On February 11 at 12:55 am in the 8000 block of Carroll Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open Montgomery County warrant for violation of probation. 07-1958
On February 11 at 1:00 am in the 7700 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with violation of a protective order. 07-1960
On February 11 at 4:00 pm in the 7680 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault. 07-1986
On February 11 at 10:30 pm in the 7600 block of Piney Branch Road, an adult male was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol and following a vehicle too closely. 07-2003
On February 12 at 1:13 am in the 7200 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open Montgomery County warrant for possession of CDS. 07-2014
On February 15 at 10:46 pm in the 1100 block of University Blvd., a criminal citation for theft under $500.00 (shoplifting) was issued to an adult male. 07-2113
