Between February 3 at 11:00 pm and February 4 at 8:00 am in the 7600 block of Hammond Avenue, an auto theft occurred. It is unknown what method was used to steal the 1985 Toyota Camry. 07-1638
On February 4 at 7:46 pm in the 900 block of East-West Highway, an auto theft occurred. The 1994 Volkswagen Golf, was left unlocked with the key in the ignition. 07-1657
On February 5, between 7:00 pm and 9:50 pm in the 1200 block of Kirklynn Avenue, an auto theft occurred. It is unknown how the 1987 Toyota 4Runner was stolen. 07-1729
Arrests:
On February 2 at 11:19 pm in the 700 block of Maplewood Avenue, an adult female was arrested on an open Montgomery County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while suspended. 07-1582
On February 3 at 12:05 pm in the 7700 block of Chicago Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. 07-1602
On February 4 at 7:25 am in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open Montgomery County warrant for burglary. A criminal citation for theft under $500 was also issued to the subject. 07-1635
On February 7 at 6:35 am in the 8100 block of Roanoke Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with 1st degree burglary, theft over $500 and several credit card offenses related to a burglary that occurred on January 26th in the 8100 block of Roanoke Ave. Detectives are continuing to investigate similar residential burglaries in the area to determine whether further charges are possible. 07-1176
On February 6 at 2:45 pm an outstanding Montgomery County/Takoma Park warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of possession of CDS, was served on an adult male being detained in Prince George’s County. 07-1747
On February 8 at 2:10 am in the 7200 block of Carroll Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol. 07-1814
