Arrests:
On August 20 at 1:22 pm in the 7700 block of Maple Avenue, a juvenile female was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving without a license. 06-10425
On August 21 at 11:26 pm in the 7700 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male ws arrested on an open Montgomery County warrant for possession of CDS. 06-10481
On August 22 at 10:22 pm in the 500 block of Albany Avenue, a criminal citation for possession of CDS paraphernalia was issued to a female juvenile. 06-10527
Crime Reports
On August 18 between 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm in the 7500 block of Jackson Avenue, an auto theft occurred. The 2001 Honda Odyssey was left unattended and unlocked with the key in the ignition. 06-10379
On August 20, between 5:14 am and 5:20 am in the 6400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a commercial burglary occurred. A surveillance tape from the business showed a subject kicking the front glass door several times, breaking it then entering the business and taking items. The subject was described as a black male, wearing a blue or black hat, blue tee shirt and blue jeans. 06-10430
Between August 21 at 11:00 pm and August 22 at 8:00 am in the 900 block of University Blvd., three thefts from autos occurred. Windows were tampered with in order to gain entry to the 2001 Toyota Tundra, 1995 Dodge Ram and 1998 Ford Club Wagon. The owners’ personal items were found scattered about in all three vehicles, but nothing was reported taken. 06-10499, 10501, 10502
Between August 22 at 9:45 pm and August 23 at 9:45 am in the 7300 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an auto theft occurred. It is unknown how the 1997 Toyota Camry was stolen. 06-10534
