Arrests:
On June 16, in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested on a outstanding warrant for violation of probation. 06-7009
On June 16, in the 900 block of Merrimac Drive, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant for manslaughter and aggravated assault. 06-7028
On June 17, in the 8400 block of Lockney Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with 1st degree burglary, assault, resisting arrest and destruction of property. 06-7058
Arrests (cont'd):
On June 17, in the 1200 block of Kirkland Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated. 06-7091
On June 18, in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested on open warrant for failure to appear on a DC bench warrant for driving an uninsured motor vehicle. 06-7137.
On June 22, in the 8600 block of Flower Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with theft under $500. 06-7352
Crime Reports
On June 17 at 1204 AM, in the 8200 block of Houston Ct. a domestic assault occurred. An adult male assaulted an adult female, who reported that she was attacked by her boyfriend. The female declined medical treatment and was advised on how to pursue charges against the male. 06-7045
On June 19, between 4:05 PM and 4:15 PM, in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a theft from a building occurred. Unknown suspect(s) entered the Aldi’s grocery store and removed the female victim’s purse from her shopping cart, which was left unattended. 06-7181
Between June 18, at 9:30 PM and June 19, at 4:50 PM, in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue, an attempt auto theft occurred. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle by unknown means. The vehicle’s door locks and ignition were damaged as a result of the suspect(s) attempting to steal the 2006 Dodge Caravan minivan. 06-7183
Between June 19-20, between 10:30 PM and 12:20 AM, in the 8100 block of Hammond Avenue, a theft from auto occurred. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s 1993 Toyota Corolla by breaking a window. Property was reported stolen. 06-7203
On June 21, between 1130 AM and 2:40 PM, in the 7600 block of Flower Avenue, a theft from a building occurred. Suspect(s) gained entry into the building by unknown means and property was reported stolen. 06-7297
On June 21, at 8:10 PM, in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a strong armed robbery occurred. Two suspect(s) approached the victim, assaulted him then robbed him of his property. 06-7304
Between June 13-20, between 2:30 PM and 11:00 AM, in the 7600 block of Carroll Avenue a theft from a building occurred. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s office by unknown means and property was reported stolen. 06-7328
On June 22, between 1030 AM and 2:30 PM, in the 8000 block of Wildwood Drive, a theft from auto occurred. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to victim’s vehicle by unknown means and property was reported stolen. 06-7336
On June 22, between 12:15 PM and 4:20 PM, in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a theft from a building occurred. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the victim’s office by unknown means and property was reported stolen.
On June 22, at 4:40 PM, in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a theft from auto occurred. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and property was reported stolen. 06-7343
Between June 21-22, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM, in the 1100 block of Linden Avenue, an attempt auto theft occurred. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into the vehicle by unknown means and to steal the victim’s vehicle, but unsuccessful. 06- 7346.
On June 22, at 12:00 PM, in the 7800 block of Kennewick Avenue, an assault occurred. A juvenile male assaulted another juvenile with his fist after a verbal altercation. 06-7358.
