Arrests:
On May 19 at 12:25 pm in the 7600 block of Maple Avenue, an adult female and an adult male ware arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault after police responded to a call for a domestic assault in progress. 06-5684
On May 19 at 9:15 pm in the 8200 block of Roanoke Ave., an adult male was charged with 2nd degree assault after officers responded to a call for a domestic assault in progress. 06-5707
On May 21 at 4:00 am at the intersection of Piney Branch Rd. and Parkside Rd., an adult male was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol. 06-5794

On May 19 at 7:32 pm in the 8200 block of Roanoke Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with possession of CDS. 06-5702
On May 21 at 1:15 pm in the 1300 block of University Blvd., an adult female was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing. She was also served with an outstanding Montgomery County warrant for larceny. 06-5803
On May 22 at 7:47 pm in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open Montgomery County warrant for disorderly conduct. 06-5856
On May 25 at 12:26 am in the 7500 block of Wildwood Dr., an adult male was arrested and charged with theft over $500, theft of a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. 06-6011
Crime Reports
On May 19, between 4:00 pm and 4:15 pm in the 1100 block of University Blvd., an auto theft occurred. It is unknown how entry to the 1997 Plymouth Voyager was gained. 06-5695
On May 21 at 6:50 pm in the 700 block of Devonshire Avenue, an auto theft was attempted. A witness saw three subjects in a 2000 Jeep Cherokee that he knew belonged to friend. He confronted the subjects, arguing with one of them before all three exited the Jeep, got into a green Honda Civic and fled. The door lock of the Jeep was damaged. The suspects were described as black males, 18-22 years old, one weighing 150 lbs. and wearing a long sleeved black shirt and a black skull cap. 06-5810
On May 21, between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm in the unit block of Lincoln Avenue, an auto theft occurred. It is unknown how entry to the 2003 Chrysler Towne & Country was gained. 06-5813
On May 21 at 10:00 pm in the 1000 block of Heather Avenue, an auto theft was attempted. The ignition and a door lock of the 1994 Chevrolet Caprice were damaged in the attempt. 06-5814
On May 22 at 4:26 am in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a commercial burglary occurred. A glass pane from the front door was removed to gain entry. Property was taken. 06-5282
On May 21 at 6:00 am in the 1100 block of University Blvd., a commercial burglary occurred. The front door of the business was removed to gain entry. Property was taken. 06-5830
On May 23 at 3:40 pm in the 1100 block of University Blvd., an armed robbery occurred. An adult male was approached by a subject who put a knife to his side and demanded his money. The subject fled on foot after the victim handed over his property. The victim was not injured. The suspect was described as a black male, 28-30 years old, 6', heavy build, dark complexion, wearing a blue shirt and black pants. 06-5901
On May 23 at 8:50 pm in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an armed robbery and car jacking occurred. An adult male was approached by two subjects who pointed a gun at him and demanded his property. The victim complied, also handing over his car keys. The subjects fled in the victim’s 2001 silver Honda Accord with New York tags. The victim was not injured. The subjects were described as black males, 18-20 years old, 5'7", 140-150 lbs., thin build, dark complexion and short hair. One was wearing a black jacket, blue striped shirt and blue jeans. The other was wearing a gray top and blue jeans. 06-5919
On May 24 at 3:10 pm at the intersection of Park Avenue and Valley View Drive, an assault occurred. An adult male was walking and as he tried to walk around four subjects that were walking in front of him, one of them struck him several times before fleeing. The victim refused treatment for minor injuries. The suspects were described as black males 18-20 years old. 06-5954
On May 24 at 9:02 pm in the 6600 block of Eastern Avenue, an armed robbery occurred. An adult female was walking when she noticed she was being followed by a subject who then began running toward her, displayed a handgun, grabbed her purse and fled on foot. The victim was not injured. The suspect was described as a black male, 18-20 years old, 6', thin build, medium complexion with short black hair, wearing a white tee shirt with writing on the front, dark pants and a large diamond earring in his right ear. 06-5971
On May 25, between 11:30 am and 3:52 pm in the 1100 block of Kingwood Dr., a residential burglary occurred. It is unknown how entry was gained. Property was taken. 06-6004
