Prepared for Disasters, Terrorism & Pandemic Flu

Learn to be Prepared for Disasters, Terrorism and Pandemic Flu, an emergency preparedness community forum, will be held Sat., May 20, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Montgomery College Health Science Center, 7977 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring.

Avian flu vs. pandemic flu; do you know the difference? Are you prepared to “shelter in place” in an emergency?

Presenters and displays are drawn from Montgomery County government public safety agencies, the county public schools, American Red Cross and county disaster volunteer groups. Learn how to prepare an emergency supply kit, register to receive emergency alerts, learn about pet care in emergencies, and more.
