Arrests:
On April 21 at 6:53 pm in the 7800 block of Carroll Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace and 2nd degree assault on a police officer. 06-4536
On April 24 at 12:35 pm at the intersection of New Hampshire and Erskine Street, a criminal citation was issued to an adult male for vandalism to a vehicle after a bus driver reported a disorderly passenger to police. 06-4633
On April 25 at 11:30 am in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. 06-4670
Arrests (cont'd):
On April 27 at 1:17 pm in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol. 06-4742
On April 26 at 10:22 am in the 8200 block of Houston Court, an adult male was arrested and charged with two counts of 2nd degree assault after police responded to a call for a domestic assault. 06-4701
Crime Reports
On April 21 at approximately 9:08 pm at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Tulip Avenue, an auto theft occurred. The locks of the 1995 Ford Thunderbird were punched out and the ignition damaged. The car was found abandoned in the 1300 block of University Blvd. at 9:31 pm. 06-4548
On April 22 at 6:28 am in the 6800 block of New Hampshire Avenue an assault and attempted armed robbery occurred. An adult female waiting at a bus stop was approached by a subject holding a knife who demanded money then ordered the victim to go with him behind a building. When the victim refused to go, the subject stabbed the victim and fled. The victim was treated at a hospital for a non-life threatening wound. The subject was described as a black male in his 20's, 5'8"-5'10", medium build, medium complexion, short hair, wearing a blue or black jacket and a ball cap. 06-4558
On April 26, between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm in the 7600 block of Flower Avenue, a burglary occurred. It is unknown how entry to the dorm room was gained. Property was taken. 06-4729
