A Maple Avenue resident was walking in the 7300 block of Cedar Avenue at about 4:45 a.m. July 12, when approached from behind by a man who displayed a weapon and demanded property. After she complied, the suspect fled in an unknown direction. No physical injuries were reported by the woman who walked to a convenience store to report the incident. The suspect was described as a black male, wearing all black clothes and stocking cap, about 5'3" - 5'6", who spoke English with no discernable accent.
