Arrests:
On April 21 at 3:04 am in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested after a routine traffic stop when a computer check found on an open Montgomery County warrant for Failure to Appear in Court on drug charges. 05-5305
On April 24 at 1:34 am in the 6400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with two counts of Theft Under $500. 05-5435
On April 23 at 8:00 pm in the 6500 block of Cockerille Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Assault and two counts of Malicious Destruction of Property after officers responded to an assault in progress. 05-5428
On April 24 at 2:26 pm in the 7700 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with one count of 1st Degree Assault, two counts of 2nd Degree Assault, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace. He was also served with an outstanding Montgomery County Warrant for Failure to Appear in Court on a charge of Driving While Impaired. 05-5468

On April 25 at 11:04 pm in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant from Metro Transit Police for 2nd Degree Assault. 05-5490
On April 26 at 12:55 pm in the 7400 block of Cedar Avenue, after a routine traffic stop, an adult female was arrested on open Montgomery County Warrants for Failure to Appear in Court on separate charges of Telephone Misuse and Driving While Suspended. Several traffic citations were also issued. 05-5569
Crime Reports
On April 24 at 6:30 pm in the 7500 block of Holly Avenue, a storehouse burglary occurred. Windows were forced open in order to gain entry. Property was taken. 05-5476
On April 25, between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm in the 6700 block of Poplar Avenue, a storehouse burglary occurred. The door of the shed was pried open in order to gain entry. Property was taken. 05-5526
On April 26, between 12:30 am and 6:00 am in the 7300 block of Willow Avenue, a storehouse burglary occurred. A garage door was forced open in order to gain entry. Property was taken. 05-5554
Between April 25 at 6:30 pm and April 26 at 7:50 am in the 1300 block of Holton Lane, a commercial burglary occurred. A window pane of the rear door of the business was broken in order to gain entry. Property was taken. 05-5555
On April 26, between 8:00 am and 6:20 pm in the 6600 block of Poplar Avenue, an auto theft occurred. It is unknown what means were used to steal the 1996 Mercury Grand Marquee. 05-5587
On April 26, between 10:15 am and 7:30 pm in the 7600 block of Carroll Avenue, an auto theft was attempted. The door lock was damaged in the attempt. Property was taken. 05-5589
On April 27 at 10:00 am in the 500 block of Belford Place, a storehouse burglary occurred. An unsecured shed door was opened to gain entry. Property was taken. 05-5639
On April 28 at 10:02 pm in the unit block of Hickory Avenue, a strong arm robbery occurred. The victim, an adult male was walking with an acquaintance when they were approached by three subjects. One subject asked the acquaintance a question while another subject punched the victim, went through his pockets and removed his property. All three subjects fled on foot and were later seen entering a vehicle and fleeing the area. The victim was able to get a tag number. The victim was not injured. The suspects were described as black males, 17-25 years old, suspect one was 6', 165lbs, medium build, dark complexion, wearing a black skull cap and a white tank top. Suspect two was 6', 200lbs, medium build, dark complexion, wearing a black tee shirt. Suspect three was 5'5", 150lbs, medium build, dark complexion. 05-5688
