A man was approached by four youth in the 7100 block of Cedar Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. tonight, April 11. The juvenile suspects took property in a strong arm robbery and fled south.
Takoma Park officers located and detained three suspects, aged 15-16 years, at about 7 p.m. in the 6700 block of 5th Avenue, where they were joined by Metropolitan Police (DC) officers. Investigation of the incident will continue, but no further details are available at this time.
