Arrests:
On April 2 at 4:17 am at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Larch Avenue, an adult male was stopped for a traffic violation. A computer check found an open warrant from Washington, DC for Failure to Appear in Court on charges of Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. 05-4286

On April 5 at 12:35 am at the intersection of University Blvd. and New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Impaired by Alcohol, Driving Without Licence, Displaying Registration Plate Issued to Another, Operating an Unregistered Vehicle and Unsafe Lane Change. 05-4418

Arrests (Cont'd):
On April 5 at 12:45 pm in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant from Montgomery County for Failure to Appear in Court on a charge of Driving While Suspended. 05-4450

On April 6 at 12:40 am at the intersection of Cockerille Avenue and Spring Avenue an adult female was stopped on a traffic violation and arrested for Vehicle Theft, Possession of Stolen Property and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle when a computer check showed the vehicle had been reported stolen. 05-4491

On April 6 at 2:42 am in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant from Prince George's County for a 2nd Degree Assault. 05-4492

Crime Reports
On April 2, between 11:00 am and 4:38 pm on the unit block of Columbia Avenue, a residential burglary occurred. A window pane of a back door was broken in order to gain entry. No property was taken. 05-4310

On April 2 at 4:53 pm in the 7700 block of Carroll Avenue, a residential burglary occurred. An air conditioner was removed from a window in order to gain entry. Two other windows were damaged. Property was taken. 05-4312

On April 2 at 10:30 pm in the 1100 block of University Blvd., a strong armed robbery occurred. The victim, a street vendor was approached by a subject who demanded his money, then kicked and punched the victim. An off-duty officer from another jurisdiction stopped the subject who then left the scene. The victim was slightly injured. No property was taken. The identity of the subject is known. 05-4321

On April 3 at 1:00 am in the 200 block of Tulip Avenue, an auto theft was attempted. A window of the 1996 Honda Accord was broken. 05-4325
