Teen Read Week is celebrated each year during the third week in October. This year, our library held its first Teen Read Week event on Thursday, Oct. 19 with a small but enthusiastic crowd. We ate snacks, and discussed books. And we set a date for our new book discussion -- Thursday, Nov. 16 from 5-6 p.m. Come join us for snacks and some book talk!
At our Oct. 19 event, each participant chose a favorite book -- or two -- to discuss. It was quite an impressive and wide-ranging list! So, in case you're looking for a good book, here's the list of books we discussed, along with the ages the teen participants felt were appropriate for each book:
