Because the Montgomery County and PG Library systems are bigger organizations, and are part of the Maryland Inter-library Loan Office network, we suggest that you may get a quicker response if you try them first.

If you do want to make an Inter-library loan request through our library, please come and fill out a special blue card we keep at the desk. You need to include as much information as you can find, at least author and title. And be sure to fill in your address on the reverse side of the card.

Our Lady of Sorrows is a central meeting point for Haitian residents in Takoma Park. The Creole French mass at the church is held at 2 PM on Sunday afternoons and the usual attendance is about 150 to 200, on special occasions over 450 come. The priest who conducts this mass, Father Arsene Jasmin, flew to Haiti for a retreat last Monday. His parishioners have been unable to contact him. Updated 01/15: He is now in contact with his friends and family
