There are still over 5 thousand books out in people's homes. We have extended due dates on everything to June 1 so accounts won't be frozen until then. But after June 1, if you still have any overdue books, you will be unable to check out anything. (We will possibly reopen for limited "curbside service" some time in June.)
Use the book drop! We check it twice a day. We will soon start quarantining all books as they are returned. They won't be checked in, cleared from your record, until the quarantine period is over. So allow for a gap of 4 days or so.
There are no fines being charged at the moment, don't worry about that. (Though if you owed money on March 13, that is still on your record.)
If you have lost a book, please search your home. We cannot accept "replacement" copies, and during the period of limited service we will also be unable to accept payments.Posted by library at May 23, 2020 03:26 PM
