Caldecott Honor illustrator Yuyi Morales presents her new picture book, Dreamers. Video



IllegalTuesday, Sept 11 - 7:30 pm
"Artemis Fowl" author Eoin Colfer , author Andrew Donkin , and illustrator Giovanni Rigano talk about their timely graphic novel, Illegal. (Note: This program is aimed at older kids, teens and adults).



AudubonThursday, Sept 13 - 7:30 pm
French illustrator Jeremie Royer discusses his work for a graphic novel biography of John James Audubon called Audubon, On the Wings of the World. (Note: This event is co-sponsored by the French Embassy).



Winnieís Great WarThursday, Sept 20 - 7:30 pm
Caldecott Medalist Sophie Blackall returns to the Library to spotlight her illustrations for a new kids novel, Winnieís Great War, which is based on her 2016 Caldecott Medal-winning picture book, Finding Winnie.



VanderbeekersTuesday, Sept 25 - 7:30 pm
Kids author Katrina Yan Glaser presents The Vanderbeekers and the Hidden Garden, the sequel to her critically-praised novel , The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street.



Atlas Obscura Explorerís Guide for the Most Adventurous KidWednesday, Oct 3 - 7:30 pm
Atlas Obscura co-creator Dylan Thuras talks about his new version for kids, Atlas Obscura Explorerís Guide for the Most Adventurous Kid. (Note: Thuras will be in conversation with Washington Post editor Anna Rothchild, creator of the YouTube series Gross Science).
