Are you verified? Check here.
If your application could not be verified, then you may need to bring one of the following with you when you go to vote:
current and valid photo identification (a Maryland driver's license or MVA-issued ID card
another identifying government document
current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck
They want paperwork that verifies your name and address. Rather like getting a library card. We ask for the same thing.
If you were not verified, how can you find your polling place? Try this.
Change of address
Remember - if you have changed your address or name, you must notify the Board of Elections. Maryland law requires you to notify the elections office of these changes within 30 days. We have change of address forms at the library. Or you can just write out the infomation, sign and send it in to the Board, or resubmit a registration application form.
(Note: you are also supposed to inform the libraries where you have cards if you change your address. Please do so.)
Absentee ballot applications must be received, not postmarked, actually received, by October 28th. Print the application, sign it, and mail it to the Board of Elections.
