Camping at the library

Tonight, please call before you come in to the library. Perhaps you should also dress warmly and carry a flashlight.

We haven't had water since last Sunday. Because there was nowhere else to send people for bathrooms, we closed yesterday at 5 as we did during the week of December 20th when we were also without water. Today we will instead try to remain open.

From December 13th through the 17th we were closed because we had no electricity or heat. Last Friday we had no heat but did have light, so we remained open. Last Saturday we held out until 2 during the snowstorm.

Please come. Consider the adventure. You will get not only good books but stories you can tell your grandchildren. Remember the year when ....
