Kids' Poetry Fun!

Kids can combine words and art to create some unique portrait poetry at our fun Kids' Poetry Workshop on Tuesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. led by local poets Elizabeth Rees and Rosanne Singer. The workshop theme is What's In Your Head? and our poet leaders will help kids transform their thoughts of soccer, dogs, spaceships -- whatever! --into poetry. All art materials will be provided, courtesy of the Friends of the Takoma Park Maryland Library; kids just need to bring their creativity. Best for ages 5 up.
