What else can you do to help other library users?
  1. Try to return your books within reasonable proximity to the due date. Your neighbors may be waiting for that very book. Please remember that you are a community of users and this is your shared library.

  2. Please try to respect other users when you are in the library.

  3. Treat books and other library materials with care. Do not spill food or drinks, fold down corners, write or highlight, or do anything else to cause harm.

  4. Be sure you return your books to the right library. We are an independent municipal library, not a county library branch - so please do not return our books to a county (or DC) library or their books to us. Not only will you accumulate fines, the books are meanwhile not available to others who may want them.
